Vessel aground NW of Skye

Some of you maybe aware that the Norwegian motor vessel Kaami ran aground on a reef known locally as Eugenie Rock six nautical miles north west off Duntulm on Skye on Monday 23rd March, shortly before 1:50am.  The rescue of the crew was co-ordinated by Stornoway coastguard. Dive on the Campbeltown Yacht

I managed a couple of dives yesterday with skipper Jason Coles of Wreckspeditions - Dunoon before storm Ciara arrives later today. Conditions were near perfect on the surface. MV Akka – sonar images

Recent sonar images of the wreck of the ore carrier Akka confirm dive reports that the wreck is beginning break up, after 63 years underwater off Dunoon in the Firth of Clyde. Loss of the Norval
