A rare sight indeed, a close up of Ardnave Point on Islay from the bridge of a 7016 grt cargo liner. We have just updated the page on the loss of the Rothesay Castle which now includes pictures of the vessel ashore. In November we were approached by the grandson of the former owner of the Glasgow ship breaking company of W. H. Arnott Young. Graced with the same name as his grandfather, W. During August we managed to break the 500 barrier for the number of shipwrecks included in the website, although this represents a drop in the ocean compared to the total number of recorded shipwrecks around Scotlands coastline.
