Clyde – new additions

A few new additions to the Clyde area include - PS Champion, Comte de Smet de Naeyer, Kathleen/Stromboli collision, HMS Laverock, SS Linnet, SS Raith, PS Redguantlet and HMS Vandal. Ayr Bay Bonanza

The forecast for Saturday was good, and on the water the sun was out and only a ripple on the surface, it was perfect. Saint Dunstan Dive

The Saint Dunstan, a WWII freighter was torpedoed off Northern Ireland on 25 August 1940 while in a convoy heading for Canada. The steamship did not sink immediately and was taken in tow for the Clyde, but sank 2 days later 4.75 miles NE of Pladda in the Lower Firth.
